Studies Prof. Elijah SONGOK (MD, MSC, PhD)

Elijah SONGOK is Prof. of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at University of Nairobi (Kenya). He is also the Chief Research Officer and Head of Graduate School, Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI). His has a special interest in the fight against viral hepatitis in Kenya and has contributed to a HCV screening intervention in people who inject drugs in Mombassa (Kenya) as part of the PROLIFICA prlateform

Studies Dr Rajiv SHAH (BMBS, BMedSci, MRCP, MSc, DTMH)

Rajiv Shah is a specialist Registrar in Infectious Diseases (Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust), Clinical Research Fellow (The University of Nottingham). His research Interests are on viral Hepatitis in Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr Rajiv Shah spent one year in Mombassa (Kenya) to collect data on HCV in people who inject drugs (manuscript under preparation).
